Rapid COVID Antigen Test
Antigen tests are immunoassays that detect the presence of a specific viral antigen, which implies current viral infection. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted emergency use authorization (EUA) for antigen tests that can identify SARS-CoV-2.
Rapid COVID Antigen Test involves a quick nasal swap, the result is available in 10-15 minutes, and it is now widely accepted for travel, school, work and many other purposes.
For patients with upper respiratory or COVID symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, headache, loss of taste or smell, a Rapid Antigen Test is recommended for quick detection of positive patients. Symptomatic patients with negative results should be followed up with a more accurate PCR testing, which is typically resulted in 24 hours with myDoc Urgent Care’s Lab.
myDoc Urgent Care performs rapid COVID Antigen and PCR Testing in all of our offices 7 days a week. Same or next day appointments are available, and we usually take walk-in if capacity allows.
Rapid Strep Test
Strep Throat is a bacteria infection that is contiguous and can cause complications if untreated. Strep Throat accounts for a portion of the SORE THROAT patients. Medications are available to cure strep throat, relieve its symptoms, and prevent its complications and spread.
Classic symptoms include sore or scratchy throat, painful in swallowing, red and swollen tonsils, sometimes with white patches or streaks of pus
Rapid Strep Test is performed in urgent care office to detect the presence of group A streptococcus bacteria; it involves a quick throat swab and result typically returns in 10-15 minutes. Sometime, a throat cultural is sent-out to an outside lab to perform more thorough study which can take 2-3 days to obtain result.

Types A and B are responsible for seasonal flu epidemics. If you get sick with flu, antiviral drugs may be a treatment option. Quickly detecting of a flu infection can also enable measures to reduce the chances of spreading the virus to other people.
Typical symptoms of flu: fever, body ache, chills and sweat, headache, cough, sore throat and more.

Urine Analysis
Urinary Tract Infections (UTI), Yeast Infections, and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD’s) are common illness where patients seek help in urgent care centers. UTI’s occur when you get bacteria into your urinary system. Yeast infections occur when too much of the fungus known as Candida builds up in a moist area on your skin, causing an infection. STD’s are infections that are mainly transmitted to others during direct sexual contact.
Common symptoms of UTI: pain and burning when urinating; urge of frequent urination; discolored or cloudy urine; foul-smelling urine.
Common symptoms of Yeast Infection: pain when urinating or having sex; itchiness in the affected area; having unusual, generally odorless, discharge.
Rapid Urine Test: also known as Dipstick Test, is performed in urgent care offices to assist timely diagnosis of medical conditions such as infections, pregnancy, diabetes, or controlled substance usage. The result is available almost immediately.
Send Out Testing: a more comprehensive urine analysis or STD screening tests may need to be sent out to an outside lab for further study, as recommended by medical providers.
